The 7th Annual LatinaFEST was at Gloria Molina Grand Park in Los Angeles, California June 1, 2025. LATINAFest, the largest outdoor festival celebrating Latinas in the U.S., is produced by a community-based organization whose mission is to celebrate and promote unity, diversity, and economic inclusion and to amplify the Latina voice while championing Latina entrepreneurs, activists, and artists who are committed to uplifting and empowering the Latina community.

LatinaFest champions Latina pride, resilience, economic empowerment and provides a platform for emerging businesses and artists to thrive. Tapping into the economic power of Latinas, who according to the Latino Donor Collaborative, contribute $1.3 trillion to the U.S. annual economy.

The event officially kicked off at 11:00 a.m. on stage with the cofounders introducing the event.

After that was a fantastic dance number with a flash mob in the front of the stage. Everyone was having a blast dancing to some great music representing many different Latino nations and dance styles. Video here.

After that was Las Chorizeras an all female mariachi group. I left before they started but I hear they were fantastic.

Shrine Auditorium and Museum in Los Angeles, California by Mary Cummins Los Angeles LA Bucket list

The current Shrine Auditorium was built 1920-1926. Architect was San Francisco-based theater architect G. Albert Lansburgh, with local architects John C. Austin and A. M. Edelman. The style is Moorish Revival. The Shrine Auditorium seats approximately 6,300 people and has a stage 194 ft (59 m) wide and 69 ft (21 m) deep which can seat 1,200 people. Attached to the Shrine Auditorium is the 54,000 sf expo hall. The hall has hosted conventions and large car shows.

Below the Auditorium stage are massive dressing rooms and a conference room. Below the theater in the basement is the Grace Dee May museum and lounge rooms for Shriners. On the fourth level is the Shriner museum. USC and the Lakers basketball teams had matches on the stage years ago. Location: 665 W Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90007 across the street from the University of Southern California (USC).

Faces of Elysian Valley sculpture in the Riverside roundabout in Los Angeles, California by Mary Cummins. This public art, consisting of nine stone sculptures ranging from eight to 12 feet in height, was dedicated in 2017. It's near Figueroa and San Fernando.
