St Vincent Court in Downtown Los Angeles by Mary Cummins

 

St Vincent's Court aka St Vincent's Place is located at St Vincent Court between Broadway and Olive at 7th Street. It's a small dead end street. It was originally part of St Vincent College which was established in 1865. In 1868 it was decided to turn the street into a fake European village with Italian, French, Swiss, Chinese, English store fronts. Today it has tiny shops and restaurants. It's also the entrance to St Vincent Jewelry building. It's a California Historic Landmark #567.
